Steve Jobs, may he rest in peace.

I realize we're not particularly an "Apple" community, but Steve Jobs was a visionary in the world of technology and will be missed dearly.

As I wrote in a blog post recently, http://www.ryanmcadams.com/27/08/2011/steve-jobs-whats-next/ Steve Jobs has impacted all of our lives in one way or another... today my friends is a very sad day for the world.

May he finally rest in peace and his family remember all of the good Steve has done.

RIP - terrible way to go

He's impacted quite a few peoples' portfolios too. Just think, if you invested $100 in AAPL in 1985 you'd be sitting on about $398,000.

Then you better pull it all out before Wall Street gets even worse. =P

I figured he knew his time was coming, for him to resign like he did. Although I never figured it would be this damn soon...didn't he just attend that conference for the Iphone 5...err 4s*?

Dennis Ritchie also died just few days after Jobs, a much more relevant person for the computer system, if you ask me.
Most people didn't even notice.

That is sad indeed. Dennis did contribute way more. Jobs was a good marketter, but people gave him way too much credit for the technology side. He did not make things, but he was very good at taking a concept, and selling it. That's what he was really good at and why Apple is doing so well now.

Never cared for the company or the operating system he formed. However he was a great inspirational man just the same. The world will never be the same without his ingenuitive mind... Rest In Peace for you deserve it.

While I think his condemnation of people that copy his ideas is a bit hipocritical, you cant deny his contributions to technology in his life overall. He will never be forgotten.

In the end, he is just a human, as we all are. Yes, he impacted the technological world in a major way, but at the end of the day, he kicked off his shoes, and went to bed just like the rest of us. If anything needs to be done, We need to learn from example of Mr. Jobs, and press forward with progression, and advancement. Pick your passion, and run with it, it is what he did, or so i feel.
