I need help with getting started

I think I really need some help here. I downloaded the software etc.
shut down my uox3 server abd started runuo, I then logged in with ignition using the same client etc as uox3. I am standing in water and uox3 gm commands don't work and I don't seem to be able to speak. what have I done wrong :?:

OK I have got it sorted. On my map the location of the Inn is Sea. I saw I had the proper map using uoam. Also the very old client I was using doesn't work correctly with Runuo. I have now changed to a new one and it works ok.
