Error

I am using RC2 which I think is the issue, but I have managed to resolve all but the following errors so maybe it's close. Origionally the error was the mount error that so many others have reported. I went back and manually edited the files and that error stopped. The error stopped after the fix of basecreatures. I got different errors so i made changes to playermobiles manually and now I am up to 3:5 files but when i did an check of the last 2 files i found nothing different.

btw origionally I was recieving the same mount error. I think this error is the 1st of many errors you should recieve from rc2. The only file that was modified BEFORE installing this script is basecreatures and that was for premium spawner.

For shinz n giggles I deleted the section and then it just errors on the next section 2 lines away.

Save problem

Hi all im trying use this level system in my shard (RunUO 2.O Final Repack) problem is the system has some problem with saving and i cant find out whats wrong. Here is the error message.

Stats & Skills Options
StatCap - Pretty self-explanitory, Tell the system what your Cap is for your shard (is used for math.)
TotalStatExp - Whatever number you put there will be how much EXP you will gain when you CAP your Stats.
SkillCap - Like StatCap, you tell the system your skill Cap for the Shard (is used for math.)
SkillTotal - Your skill Total is what your skills would equal if added up while capped.
Skill Total is found by: NumberofSkills (default 52?) * SkillCap (default 120) which equals... 6480.
TotalSkillExp - Like TotalStatExp - When you CAP all your skills you will have gained that amount of EXP.

I get this error 'ExpPlugin' does not exist in the current context.... I am using the latest version of runuo could anyone explain to me why this dosent hook it to the system... I can add this into the script

I was looking for a way to make the levels come at different and progressively longer intervals than the default 200 (I used 2000). I came up with this and decided to post it in case anyone else was looking for similar changes to the system. I am an amateur when it comes to scripting so any neatening of the code is appreciated.

Using my coding, whatever number you use in the place of 200 will be how many exp are required to level from 1 to 2. After that, the exp for the next level will be determined by the formula you use in the actions.cs script.

This formula uses the current level and multiplies it by 2500 to get the exp needed to level which would be 5000 from level 2 to 3 then 7500 from 3 to 4 and so on. You can change the 2500 to anything you want. Or use a completely different formula altogether.

Without seeing the scripts the errors refer to its hard, but have you tried just removing the word "override" from one of the scripts? It may be a bool which has since been removed from Mobile.cs, in which case trying to override it won't do any good since it no longer exists.

As in post one of the scripts that is erroring. A pic of the errors that is unreadable will get you nowhere. Post the Lesser Hiryu & Blade Spirits scripts. Without seeing the scripts themselves, all anyone can do is guess.
 
Is anyone familiar enough with this system to be able to tell me where I could alter the difficulty of the mob levels? Essentially I want to situate it so players aren't able to take out level 15 monsters at level 1. If this doesn't exist, how might I create a modifier to apply to BaseCreature.cs based on level? Since this level system assigns levels based on skills and stats, it would seem applicable to be able to set/manipulate difficulty settings for the things we fight.
 
Also want to state that it doesn't seem that the ExpFromCrafting setting does anything. I have mine set to true, am crafting successfully and getting skill gains, but no experience is given. Any thoughts?

I hate to necro an old thread but I have a question I'm wondering if the original author would support.
I'm having difficulties getting the title to display for players in game. I get the level number, but no "level" before it.
It displays fine on monsters.
I'm running 2.1 svn.

My Titles.cs is nothing like the codes provided, so I can only imagine my difficulity in this matter is in that file.
