Is this a core mod: Double click to pick up.

Hello all,

I am looking at either modifying my core or writing a custom script to allow players to double click an item in a corpse to automatically loot it, Possibly just picking up items elsewhere as well.

My question is, is this a core modification or is it better suited as a script? If it is a core mod, where would I start looking, Base Item?

This could be done without a core modification, but would be easier as a Core Modification, you need to look in Item.cs

Thank Jeff I will take a look at it, I have a basic Idea of what to do, probably starting with an on double click method.

jeff wouldnt that be a script? have played on shards where they had [claim [cu [grab this seems to be what sec_goat is looking for is it not???

No, in Corpse.cs you can change the code to auto loot if its your corpse.
