Dark Elves/Drow Building CONTEST!
We are going to have a DARK ELVES/DROW building contest!
CHALLENGE: To build one Dark Elves/Drow Building.
We are just trying to find a look-and-feel that we like and, while we've been through a few designs, none of them have been "quite right".
Rules:
1. The building can be any size. Small is fine. It's the concept that we are interested in.
2. You can use any current or pre-made building sets or create your own. The choice is yours.
3. While it isn't mandatory, you may want to add deco (like vines), or hues to your design to enhance its appearance.
4. Submissions should be made via images in this post.
5. House must be able to be extracted. In other words, while you will be judged on your images, the actual house (and any necessary files associated with it) must be able to be given to us (possibly via UOArchitect extraction, for example).
6. There may be no winners or there may be multiple winners. Winner will be chosen based upon whether or not we use your design in-game.
7. Multiple Submissions per person are allowed. One person may win multiple times if more than one of their submissions is chosen.
8. Winners will each receive $10 via PayPal (once building has been received and tested in-game).
9. You may do whatever you choose with your submissions once we receive them. For instance, if you made a complete new building set and multiple buildings, feel free to re-sell them or give them away in the Script Submissions area.
In order to enter, simply post your house designs below.
(For a better idea of what we're looking for, we are thinking: nature, like elves, but darker colored foliage and maybe purple flowers. The overall color scheme we have been looking for is dark greys and purples. The drow are known for worshiping a spider queen. Perhaps you would like to incorporate that into your design? However, we are not going for dirty, underground drow. We would still like to see less rock and more tree buildings or buildings made of smooth material (like plaster). We tried the building set of grey plaster with purple cobblestones, which we like, but just couldn't make it hue right; especially with regards to roof choice with it.)
