How to: Port Forward with D-Link Routers
All the port forwarding tutorials I have seen are for Linksys routers, and I have a D-Link and found it somewhat difficult to get started.
1. Go to your browser and type in 192.168.0.1. It will then ask you for a password. The default is admin for user and no password.
2. Click on the Advanced tab on the top.
3. On the advanced page (make sure the "Virtual Server" mode is selected on the left toolbar), insert a name. For this example we'll use RunUO. For your private IP, go to Start>Run...>cmd>type in "ipconfig". Type that IP in for "Private IP". Set Protocol Type to TCP. Set both ports to 2593. Select Always.
4. Hit "Apply".
5. You're done. Have fun!
