Maybe I'm doing something wrong then, cause when I installed the latest version of your system, I didn't clear my world, because I have tons of player houses everywhere LOL! What I did was install the latest version over the old one, then unload all maps, then reload the new ones. Is that what I'm supposed to do?

To delete ALL houses, use
[global remove where basehouse
to delete ALL houses which are not owned type
[global remove where basehouse owner = (-null-)

Okay I'm not looking to delete any houses, I don't need my players getting pissed off LOL!

Okay I installed the latest copy of the system, 4.1.3. I unloaded all the facets, then went to load all the facets, and everything went fine until it got to the Mondain's Legacy spawns. It only spawned the top 2. It said the maps were not found for the others.

And when I try to enable [SmartPRS it tells me that it's not a valid command, something is screwy here.

Only the blighted grove and painted caves have the maps ready for them at this point I believe. As for the smartPRS enabling I think it's now in the premiumspawner gump and the command is no longer used.

SmartPRS is enable by default, just spawn the maps, they will be spawned with SmartPRS enable. There is a little bug in this command in main gump, but it was fixed to next release.

And yes, just the top two of ML have maps at this point.

Just a question for seanandre:
Which was the old release you was using? Because some change in the house scripts could cause a crash in the saves... (v2.9 to 4.0.1 added house doors scripts).

I had v4.0.7 before I finally got around to updating to your v4.1.3 release. I've been real slow LOL! My shard is very tempermental, it doesn't work all that well with different scripts, so I've been worried about downloading updates, afraid I might screw it up. But I took a chance and made a backup of the entire shard before updating this, and thankfully it's working so far.

I'm having a little trouble with the spawner, and its probably just my lack of experience in using it.

I cleared the facet on a new server Im working with. Then I ran all the spawners for decorations and such, works just fine.

Then I tried to spawn Felucca and Trammel...

Everything in town spawns just fine, vendors, animals, etc. The "canned evil" spawns appear to be working (ran past the city of the dead one in t2a and it was full of mongbats and imps) But outside of town and in dungeons, there is no spawn at all. The spawners are there, I can click on them and see what is supposed to be there, but simply nothing is spawning.

Could someone give me a clue what Im doing wrong?
 
Problem with spawn

The reason it is not showing nothing up when u go into the places is becasue it has to be a person set as a player before they will spawn that is the pupose of Smart spawn so u don't have alot of stuff spawned and moving all at once making ur shard get all laggy and other things of that sort.I hope this fixes ur problem u have.:D

Ps.Sorry about messing up on the writing was looking at the posts again and seen where it said sexy on there???????I must have had a long night.lol

No, is everything ok. That's the way the Smart Player Range Sensitive works.

In version 4.0.7 and above, you can use a Smart Player Range Sensitive Lag Reducer. Spawners will check if a player is in a range lower than SpawnRange + 60 (HomeRange + 60 for RunUO default spawners) squares from it. If yes it will spawn, if not in range will not spawn. If players lets the area the spawner will automatically DeSpawn in the next "NextSpawn" (sec/min/hour, it will depend on Min and MaxDelay).

And more: hidden staff members not spawn creatures too. To staff members spawn some spawner, he they need to be unhide.

The system is enable by default. To incapacitate it accesses the main menu in the part: SMART PLAYER RANGE SENSITIVE.
I strong recommend people to read the tutorial. ;)

When using [spawn gumps, filenames, that are given to [spawngen command, are in lowcase, while files and directories names are in capitalized. This breaks generation under OS other then Windows (any OS, that distinguish capital and small letter).
In script SpawnMaps.cs, for example, [spawngen malas/south.map should be [spawngen Malas/South.map and so on.

Hmm, i just use on Windows... but i will fix it someday, thx to report.

No it's wrong. I said to read tutorial. But to change the time:

[global set mindelay h:m:s maxdelay h:m:s where premiumspawner

h:m:s = hours:minutes:seconds
ex: 7:0:0 = seven hours

Use nightmare after premiumspawner will not work. To to that you need to edit the maps where are nightmares. Use the editor. Search by creature name in each facet. See the SpawnID, then go to Data/Monsters/"FacetName" and search the map that has that ID (read tutorial, that's really easy), than add an:

overridemintime x
overridemaxtime x

to the line above hte nightmare and an:

overridemintime 5
overridemaxtime 10

to the line below.

number is in minutes. "x" is what you want...

Read tutorial for accurate information.

Q: Why so many changes in so little time?
A: Because I am busy with the university and I will be a good time without updating Distro, then I made some fixes and small improvements, besides beginning a support to ML, although weak. The next release should be ready for occasion of RunUO 2.0.
